I’ve been friends with Larry for about 25 years. Larry and I had a love for golf and we played a lot of rounds together. Larry visited Donna and I when we moved to South Carolina. Larry was a great friend and family member. We will miss him deeply.

Sending prayers of comfort and grace to the family. I remember Michael as a mischievous little tyke that my Mom used to babysit.. He came in like a whirlwind and left the same way. I met a subdued young man at Jane’s funeral. Quite a digmfferent memory. I will miss you Michael.

Larry was such an amazing human. We had so many memories together it’s hard to just pick one to write about. On Fridays when we would work a closing shift together we would have “Frozen Friday’s” and alternate on which one of would pay for chocolate milkshakes. After the shift was over, I loved going on the intercom singing “Larry is my best friend, Larry is my best friend. Best friend. Best friend. Best friend”.
He even taught me proper form when swinging a golf club. Shoulder back, knees bent. He Allegedly charged $37.50 and hour for lessons.
I am a music enthusiast just like him. He recently bought a set of drums to help teach me to play. After a morning of eating his favorite breakfast of tomato and gravy , he played 90’s country as loud as his surround system let him and told me “drumming is feeling the music” as I drummed along to Tim McGraw or the Dixie Chicks.
The best advice I have ever received from him is;
“It’s not a good thing. It’s not a bad thing. It’s just a thing.” That will forever stick. Larry left a mark on MANY lives. He’s the bestest friend anyone could ask for. Much love for my Bestie <3
