Lawrence Hoffman Paul Tedescucci, 83, of Clarksville, Indiana, originally from Elizabethtown, Kentucky, passed away on September 27, 2024, at Westminster Health Care Center. He was born on February 15, 1941, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Alexander Rudolph Tedescucci Sr. and Anna Mae Hoffman.

Lawrence is survived by his children: Patrick N. Tedescucci (Ramona) and Angela R. Tedescucci (Jim). He was a proud Papa to his grandchildren: Matthew Tedescucci (Emma), Noah Tedescucci (Jillian), Nathaniel Tedescucci, Brady Faust, and Maria Faust, and a proud Great-Papa to Drake Lawrence Tedescucci.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda C. Eanes Tedescucci; his parents, Alexander Rudolph Tedescucci Sr. and Anna Mae Hoffman Tedescucci; his siblings, Frank Lawrence Tedescucci, Frederick Edward Tedescucci, Alex Rudolph Tedescucci Jr., Joseph A. Tedescucci, Veola Tedescucci, and Eleanor Habig; as well as his loyal dog, Coco, and his diva cat, Lillie.

Lawrence lived a life rich in love, family, and friendship. He was affectionately known as “Papa” by his grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them and finding great joy in their presence. His deep love for his family and his kind spirit was evident in every conversation, especially when speaking about his children and grandchildren.

He proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard, where he worked as a cook for 20 years, living by the motto "Semper Paratus" ("Always Ready"). After retiring from the Coast Guard, he continued his culinary career, sharing his cooking talents with many. Lawrence was known to enjoy coffee at all hours, often while watching his favorite Hallmark and Lifetime movies. He was also a passionate fan of the Louisville Cardinals, always cheering on his beloved team. His warm heart, gentle nature, and love of life left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 20th at Mimo's Pizzeria, 2708 Paoli Pike, New Albany, Indiana, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. While food will not be provided by the family, Mimo’s offers amazing dishes for purchase.

Lawrence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He will be remembered for his endless stories, warm smile, and his love for the simple joys in life. Hooyah!
