Leeanna Marie Penn

04/03/1984 - 03/23/2026

Leeanna Marie Penn, age 41, passed away on March 21, leaving behind a legacy of strength, complexity, and a soul that endured more than most.

Leeanna lived a life that was not always easy, but she continued forward in her own way. Beneath everything she faced was a spirit that was deeply human—one that felt, struggled, loved, and kept going. She was a daughter, a sister, and a mother, and her life leaves behind memories that will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her father, Anthony Wilson; her sisters, Kristian Wilson and Autumn Carey; her brothers, Anthony Wilson Jr. and Kayden Wilson; her daughters, Abigail Penn, Emily Penn, and Jeanette Penn; and her nieces and nephew, Alije Gividen, Bailey Gividen, and Dallas Carey.

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Mary Harper and Christine Wilson; her uncle, Paul Harper; and her aunts, Jeanette Decker, Mary McClain, and Suzanne Wilson.

In 2017, Leeanna made the selfless decision to become an organ donor. In her passing, she gave the gift of life to others—turning unimaginable loss into hope, and allowing her life to continue on through someone else. Even in the end, she gave something beautiful.

In her final days, she was not alone. She was loved, she was advocated for, and she was held onto with everything that was left. There were moments—real moments—of connection, of presence, of love that will never be forgotten. Those moments will be carried forever.

There are no perfect words to sum up a life like hers. She was more than her struggles. She was more than the pain. She was someone that was deeply loved.

Her soul is now free, no longer burdened, no longer in pain—moving on in a way we can’t see, but will always feel.

Leeanna will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
