Lesley Ann Shaw

Lesley Ann Shaw, 43, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on August 25, 2025.

She was born in Frankfort, Indiana, to Joyce MacLean and David Shaw.

Lesley is survived by her daughter, McKenzie (Lathan) French; her son, Dakota Shaw; her beloved granddaughter, Lacklyn; her brother, Tucker (Jamy) Shaw; and her sisters, Monica Shaw, Ashlee (Cory) Barnett, and Sara Shaw. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joyce MacLean and David Shaw.

In her younger years, Lesley found joy in music and dancing, often looking out for her brother’s and proudly protecting her family. She had a fierce spirit and carried the battles of those she loved as her own. The greatest blessings in her life were her children—McKenzie and Dakota. Dakota was always by her side, just as Lesley Ann was once inseparably close to her mother, Joyce.

Lesley was a 2001 graduate of West Vigo High School in West Terre Haute, Indiana.

A joint celebration of life honoring Lesley and her mother, Joyce, will be planned at a later date and shared through social media.
