Linda Casada

9/28/1965 - 8/8/2025

Linda Casada, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on August 8, 2025.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Kenneth Casada; her children, Tiffany Foster (Andrew Worley), Amy Osborn, and Kenneth N. Casada; her sister, Stacy (Brian) Kern; her brother, John (Lisa) Blocher; 11 cherished grandchildren; 7 nieces and nephews; 4 great-nieces and nephews; 1 great-grandchild and another expected this coming September; and many other relatives who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her son, David Reiken, and her parents, Linda and John Blocher.

Linda dedicated 21 years of her life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She once said, “I would love to work with my old people again, I loved helping them.” That passion for caregiving reflected the way she lived her life—always giving, always loving, and always putting her family first.

She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, watching Chicago Cubs games, playing bingo, going “junking,” camping and fishing, coloring pictures on her phone, and laughing at monkey videos. Family was at the heart of everything she did. She spoke daily with her brother and sister, and she found joy in sharing advice, encouragement, and love with those closest to her. Linda lived with her husband, daughter Tiffany, Tiffany’s boyfriend Andrew, and her grandchildren Alaina and Gabriel before her hospitalization, where she remained surrounded by family.

Linda’s legacy of love, laughter, and selflessness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She was truly one of a kind and will be deeply missed.

This woman lit a warming fire in my heart that reminded me of the value of life, friendship, and standing strong through storm after storm. There are rarely souls so beautiful, generous, or authentic and the world has suffered a great loss.
