Lydia Loraine Newton

Lydia Loraine Newton was born on November 3rd, 1957 in Owensboro, Kentucky. Where she receded for the remainder of her life. Lydia’s warmth, laughter, and loving spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. 

Lydia found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved watching and collecting movies. Music was a constant source of comfort and happiness for her, especially the timeless songs of Stevie Nicks and Micheal Bolton. She also enjoyed sharing laughs, and making memories with her friends and family. These are moments that meant the world to her.

Lydia was preceded in death by her loving parents, Lillian Newton and Eugene Newton, and her brothers Jerry Newton and Bobby Newton. Lydia will be remembered for her caring heart, her unwavering love for her family, and the warmth she brought into the lives who knew her. 

Lydia Loraine Newton is lovingly survived by her children, Amber Neff and Brian Newton. She was a proud grandmother to Lily (Thaddeus) Hall and Kaylee (Trevor) Priddy, and a cherished great-grandmother to Ryker Priddy and Paisley Allen. Lydia is also survived by her sisters, Judy Quinn and Barbara Miller, along with many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her.
