Mable Lowery

12/2/1960 - 3/24/2026

Beloved mom, mamaw, and gigi, Mable Melissa Lowery, passed away on March 24, 2026, at the age of 65 after a battle with cancer.

Mable was renowned, especially in her later years, for not holding back her opinion and had a knack for telling it like it is. Well, as she saw it anyway. Apologies to the hospital staff and anyone else who had the job of telling her what to do.

You could bump into her at Walmart most any day of the week. Sometimes, a couple of times a day. She loved shopping, mostly for other people, especially for her great grand kids. We are sure Walmart sales are now suffering. 

Mable was a compassionate animal lover. Over the years, she adopted or fostered hundreds of dogs and cats. Many went on to find forever homes. We bet traffic was a bit backed up when she stopped at Rainbow Bridge to gather her pack. 

Mable leaves behind a group of dysfunctional minions, including her other half, a couple of crazy daughters, a ragtag group of grandchildren, her beloved great-grandchildren, and all those who loved her. 

A private Celebration of Life will be held, in lieu of a service, due to many of her friends and family not being able to attend, as they decided to beat her to the Pearly Gates. She now gets to hold her great-grandson again. And you know her best friends had her welcome all ready for her. That reunion party probably got a little crazy. Party on Mable....
