Marilyn was born in Philadelphia, PA, to Elizabeth Coleman and Marion Hudson. She graduated from William Penn High School. She spent the majority of her younger years caring for others as a Nurse at Abington Hospital in Cheltenham, PA, until her eventual relocation to Williamstown, New Jersey. In New Jersey, she worked at the former Merv Griffin’s Casino Hotel for 5 years, before retiring in support of her husband, children, and their home.
Marilyn loved to cook. She was an excellent cook and loved hosting large family dinners. She often joked that she did not know how to cook for less than 30 people.
Marilyn also loved decorating homes. She had a flair for decorating and a great eye for colors. She actually loved wall paneling. We had paneling at 3 out of the 4 homes that we lived in as a family. Family and friends would call Marilyn to help with home remodeling.
Marilyn was a friend to everyone. She was a giver and a caretaker. She was well known and appreciated for her love and compassion towards others. If you were in need, and Marilyn found out about it… you were no longer in need. She was gracious in all her ways.
Marilyn served the Lord faithfully as the sound engineer for Williamstown Assembly of God for 10 years (Williamstown, New Jersey), until her relocation to Indiana. Marilyn loved our Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit was highly evident in her life.
Marilyn will be greatly missed by her family and all who were blessed to know her.
May she rest in the Lord’s Perfect Peace.

Marilyn was a wonderful friend. We spent many hours at my kitchen table talking and drinking coffee. She waited with me at the hospital while my husband was having surgery. We always enjoyed our time together.
