Mark Andrew Grimes

Mark Andrew Grimes, 53, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. After a courageous three-year battle with cancer, he went home to be with the Lord on February 25, 2026.

Born on February 24, 1973, to Daniel and Anna Grimes, Mark was a cherished husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and loyal friend.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Mylene; his sons, Matthew, Marvin, and Miles; his father, Daniel Grimes Sr.; his brothers, Daniel Grimes Jr., Tommy Grimes, and Paul Grimes; his sister, Susanna Puzon; many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly; and his beloved black lab, May-May.

Hardworking and dedicated, Mark was known for his blunt honesty and fairness. Beneath his unapologetic humor was a heart of gold, he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Even during the most difficult times, he maintained an upbeat outlook and made sure those around him were cared for and supported.

Mark embraced the challenges of the trucking industry and built lasting friendships throughout his career. 

In his free time, Mark treasured time spent with his family and was especially passionate about farming alongside them. His summers were filled with the moments he cherished most—family gatherings, camping trips, shared laughter, and good food.

A Celebration of Life will be held at East Ridge Estate, 831 E. Ridge Road SE, Corydon, Indiana, on Saturday March 7th beginning at 1:00 p.m.
