Mark Manning

Mark Manning, 53, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on May 15, 2024. Born on June 28, 1970, to Joseph and Giselle Manning, Mark was a beloved father, brother, and friend. He is survived by his cherished daughter Vanessa Byrd; his loving brother Joseph Manning; and his devoted sister Alexandra Sattich. Mark also leaves behind grandchildren and nieces who adored him dearly.
Mark was a talented chess player, an avid reader, and a gifted artist, finding joy and peace in drawing. His gentle spirit and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph W. Manning and Gisela Manning. Mark's legacy of love and creativity will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Cremation was chosen and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Reflecting on my memories with Mark is a beacon of what was and what could have been. We met over 27 years ago and reconnected 15 years ago. We were instantly drawn to each other then and had this gravitational pull to each other for some reason. We enjoyed times at a lake and walks on the trails, ice cream cones and just hanging out. Amidst these times I couldn’t help but wish for a time Mark could be free from these demons that plaqued him. As I look back on these moments my heart is heavy with a loss of a soul that would have had a great impact on this cruel world. Mark, you will be deeply missed but the imprint of my memories will forever be imprinted in my heart.
