Mary Jo (Head) Miller

Mary Jo (Head) Miller, 82, of Fisherville, KY, passed away peacefully at home on February 28, 2026 surrounded by loved ones.
Born on January 18, 1944, in Louisville, KY, Mary Jo was the daughter of the late Mae and Lonnie Head. She was a graduate of Ahrens Trade High School. She retired from the United States Postal Service.
Mary Jo was known for her kind and gentle spirit, her big heart, and her sweet, funny nature. She had a deep love for animals of all kinds, but especially cats, which brought her endless joy and companionship throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Miller, and brothers Harold Head and William Head.
Mary Jo is survived by her loving daughters, Michelle Miller and Stacy Miller (Jeff Smith); her brother, Thomas Head; and a host of cherished feline “grandcats” who were always close to her heart.
In keeping with her wishes, Mary Jo chose cremation and no formal services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in her memory to the Spencer County (KY) Humane Society.
