Melissa Cochran

Melissa Cochran, 54, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on May 13, 2026. 

She is survived by her sons, Kyle Dixon (33) (Whitney (32)) of Corydon, IN, and Kenneth "Kenny" Dixon (35) of Elizabeth, IN; grandchildren, Madison Dixon (9), Jaxton Dixon (8), Brianna Dixon, and Cooper Dixon; sister, Christal Trowbridge (56); brother, Brian Mialback (49); father, Charlie Ellis (77); and husband, Kirk Blevins. 

She is preceded in death by her mother, Lynn Mialback of Clarksville, IN; and son, Brett Dixon. 

Melissa loved animals and being outdoors. She spent most of her time with her grandkids, as they were her best friends. She was always a great person to talk to; she never judged anybody and always made you feel welcome and loved. 

Cremation was chosen, and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, IN, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
