Melissa Grant, 52, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on May 29, 2025. Born on November 30, 1972, in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the beloved daughter of Richard Barr and Margaret Robey.

Melissa was a devoted homemaker whose heart belonged to her family. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren, spoiling them with love, laughter, and endless candy. To them, she wasn’t just "Mamal" — she was their fashion icon, their biggest cheerleader, their go-to for style advice, and the fun mastermind behind summer cookouts and epic water balloon fights.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Ashley Williams and her grandchildren: Heaven Williams, Juan George, Sophia Williams, Ariel Grant, Nevaeh Grant, and Nathaniel Williams. She is also survived by her devoted mother, Margaret Robey, and her sister, Anne Cain.

Melissa was preceded in death by her cherished son, Erick Grant, and her beloved twin sister, Melanie Blanton.

A true fashionista, Melissa was known for always looking her best — her hair perfectly styled, her nails freshly done, and every outfit color-coordinated and on point. She enjoyed decorating her home with flair and finding treasures on shopping trips. She could often be found binge-watching her favorite shows like The Vampire Diaries
