Michael Anthony Hunt, 64, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away  at his home on July 5, 2025.

Michael was a devoted father to his son Michael (Madelyn) Hunt and a proud grandfather to Hailie, Brianna, Noah, and Nash. He is also survived by his loving siblings, Debbie Wentworth and Jimmy (Mary) Hunt. His faithful companion and favorite friend, his dog Diesel, will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sally Hunt, and his parents, James and Edna Hunt.

Michael found joy in life’s simple pleasures—fishing, spending time with his family, cheering on his grandchildren at every game and school event, and taking long walks along the river with Diesel. His quiet strength, warm heart, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Cremation was chosen and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.
