Michael E. Pooler

Michael E. Pooler, 68, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, passed away on January 17, 2026, at the hospital, surrounded by those who loved him.

Michael was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and family man whose love and loyalty to his family were the foundation of his life. He shared 30 loving years of marriage with his wife, Donna Pooler, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Together they built a life filled with memories, strength, and unwavering support.

He is survived by his children, Charlie Pooler, Christopher Pooler, and Jessica (Chris) Ridgeway; his cherished grandchildren, Brenden and Victoria Ridgeway; and two great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy. Michael also lovingly embraced his bonus daughters, Addy Lawson and Ana Embry, and bonus son, Memphis Embry, as his own.

He is further survived by his brothers-in-law, Bill Humes and Richy Humes; his father-in-law, William Humes; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Humes; and his cousin, Allen (Debbie) Haas.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Gene Pooler; his mother, Jo Ann Castleman; his sisters, Diane Pooler and Kathy Pooler.

Michael will be remembered for his kind heart, quiet strength, and the deep love he held for his family. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his legacy of love will continue through all who were blessed to know him. 

Mike Pooler's memorial service will be Held at 2233 Knox Ave Vine Grove Ky. 40175 on January 28,2026 at 4:00pm Rock of Ages Church. That family please request that anyone who would like to send flowers please use the Church address. Thank you.
