Michael Lawrence Haines
1/24/1971 -1/27/2026
Michael Lawrence Haines, age 55, passed away surrounded by love. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a deeply kind soul whose presence will be missed more than words can express.
Mike grew up in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, the son of Barry and Rochelle Haines. He was a beloved brother to Janice Haines and a proud uncle to his nephew, Brandon Haines. Mike built a beautiful life with his wife, Elissa Haines, and was the loving father of one daughter,
Violet, who was truly the center of his world.
Mike was also deeply loved by his sister-in-law Amanda Hobson, brother-in-law John Hobson, niece Marley, and nephew Milo. He adored them and loved nothing more than being silly with the kids—making them laugh, playing, and sharing in their joy. He is further survived by a large and loving extended family who meant so much to him.
Mike also shared a lifelong bond with his best friend, John Allen, who was like a brother to him. Their friendship was built on years of loyalty, laughter, and unwavering support, and it was a relationship that meant the world to Mike.
Michael was preceded in death by loved ones who went before him and now welcome him with peace and love.
Mike was an exceptionally talented graphic designer who worked in the field for many years. He was employed at HMC Screenprinting in Noblesville, where he was valued for his creativity and skill and proudly known as the company’s resident dart champion. A man of many passions,
Mike loved hockey, especially cheering on the Philadelphia Flyers. He had a deep love for road trips—anywhere and everywhere—as long as he was with his family. An artist at heart, he created art both professionally and at home. In his younger years, Mike played electric guitar in a garage band and remained a rocker at heart, with a lifelong love of heavy metal music, including Def Leppard, KISS, and Swedish guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen.
Mike had a legendary love of hot sauce and spicy food and could eat anything—no matter how hot—without ever being phased. One of his favorite places was Gatlinburg, Tennessee, where he enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, exploring nature, and simple adventures. He also loved animals, video games, and quiet moments of fun and laughter. Though he may have seemed quiet at first, those who knew him best knew his gentle nature, sharp sense of humor, and deeply loving heart.
Mike earned an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design from Delaware County Community College. He also attended Ivy Tech Community College, where he pursued coursework in computer programming and cybersecurity.
A lifelong learner, Mike was always studying and researching topics that interested him. He especially enjoyed learning about theology and contemplating the deeper questions of life, faith, and meaning.
