Michael Perkins, 64, of New Albany, Indiana, who departed from this world on April 24, 2024. Born on January 29, 1960, to James and Delma Perkins, Michael brought warmth and kindness to all who knew him. He leaves behind his cherished sister, Mildred Perkins.

Michael's spirit now joins his beloved late wife, Peggy Tidwell, in eternal peace. He was also preceded in death by his devoted parents, James Perkins and Delma Pierce Perkins.

Michael's passions illuminated his life's path, as he found solace and inspiration in the pages of science fiction literature and the captivating realms of artistic expression. From the mesmerizing worlds of books and movies to the intricate strokes of paintings, he found beauty in the extraordinary.

A graduate of New Albany High School in 1978, Michael's adventurous spirit led him to serve his country proudly in the US Army. His dedication and courage were testaments to his character, leaving an indelible mark on those he encountered.

Cremation has been chosen and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.
