Noemi Ortiz

Noemi Ortiz, passed away September 21, 2023 at Salem Crossing in Salem, IN.

She was born August 10, 1944 to her parents, Orencia Garcia and Raymundo Ortiz in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico.

She spent most of her life being a care giver working as a Home Health Aide, CNA and QMA. She enjoyed volunteering with Women’s ministries as she loved to talk about God with everyone. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, listening to country music and Elvis, and watching old movies.

Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia Gonzalez and Sandra Gonzalez; two sons, Louis Gonzalez and John Colon; sisters, Virginia and  Estelle and one brother Tonio. She had a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death: Her son, Robert Gonzalez; brother, Victor Ortiz; two sisters, Lala Ortiz and Julie Ortiz.

A memorial service will be held at a future date.
