Ollie Preston Pilgrim Jr., 71, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026, in LaGrange, Indiana. He was born on January 12, 1955, in San Antonio, Texas, to Ollie Preston Pilgrim Sr. and Segie Jeanette (Goodwin) Pilgrim.

Preston is survived by his wife of 34 years, Janet (Slabaugh) Pilgrim; his daughter, Jennifer Pilgrim; his daughter-in-law, Vanessa Bremer; and his grandson, Caleb Bremer.

Preston was a lifelong businessman, known for his proficiency with technology and his unyielding eagerness for the latest scientific discoveries and innovations. He was an avid reader of speculative fiction, and found great joy in spending quality time with his wife and family.
