Pamela Sue Brummitt

10/23/1956 - 10/22/2025

Pamela Sue Brummitt, age 68, entered into her eternal rest peacefully on October 22, 2025. Born on October 23, 1956, she lived a life full of compassion, strength and unwavering love for her family, friends and animals.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Patricia and Charles Schoenbachler, her brother Kenneth Schoenbachler, her nephew Michael Lucas and by her infant sister Mary Rose Schoenbachler. She is survived by her beloved husband, Jakie H. Brummitt, and by her siblings: Karen Mattingly, Brenda Schreck (Ralph), Rebecca Vest (Patrick) and Steven Schoenbachler.

She leaves behind her nieces: Savanna Vest, Katina Morgan, her great nieces: Brittany Morgan and Hildi Schreck, and her nephews: James Lucas, Jason Schreck (Amanda), Adam Vest (Marielle) and her great nephew Viktor Schreck. Pamela also leaves behind her many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Pamela had fellowship with the Independent Church of God Seventh Day, and brought many people to the love of the Father, Creator of us all. To know Pam was to know a true believer. She learned much from her beloved friend, Lucille Cornwell, and she loved her many friends in this ministry, and never missed a chance to tell people about salvation.

Pamela had a lifelong love for animals, especially dogs. She dedicated many years to them, giving countless animals a chance at life and a loving home. Her compassion and dedication touched many lives—human and animal alike.

A celebration of Pamela’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions to The Humane Society of Louisville would be appreciated.

Pamela will be remembered for her beautiful smile, big heart, her devotion to her husband, family and friends, and her unshakable love for our Messiah, Yahushua (Jesus). She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, humor and love. She will be sorely missed until the day we can all see her again in His kingdom.
