Pamela Sue Harbeson

Pamela Sue Harbeson (Wyatt), 68, passed away peacefully in July 2026.

Pam was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, cherished sister, and loyal friend whose greatest joy was spending time with the people she loved. She especially treasured every moment with her husband, Roger Harbeson, and loved simply being wherever he was. Together, they moved to Charleston, South Carolina, before returning home to Memphis, Indiana, where they built their life and raised their family. Whether hosting cookouts, playing Euchre or Washers, or gathering with family and friends, Pam found happiness in life's simple moments. She also had a special place in her heart for the many dogs and cats she loved throughout the years.

Pam graduated from Jeffersonville High School and spent many years working in the food industry, where she was known as a dedicated and hardworking employee. Those who knew Pam will remember her spirited personality, honest heart, and fearless nature. She was a true spitfire who never hesitated to speak her mind, and her authenticity left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She is lovingly survived by her husband, Roger Harbeson; her son, Jason Wyatt and his wife, Jennifer, and their children, Caleb and Chloe; her daughter, Ashley Gaines and her husband, Levi, and their children, Eva, Athena, Bentley, and Addy; her sister, Patti Petty; her brothers, Perrin Wyatt and Philip Wyatt; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Dorothy Wyatt; her brother, Perry Wyatt; her mother-in-law, Martha Harbeson; her father-in-law, Jim Harbeson; her brothers-in-law, Jimmy, Tony, and Tommy Harbeson; and her brother-in-law, Loren Petty.

Pam's strength, unwavering honesty, and generous heart touched countless lives. She had a gift for making people laugh, speaking her mind with love, and fiercely caring for those around her. Her love for her family, her laughter, and the memories she created will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
