Paul Douglas Lucas

Paul Douglas Lucas, 61, of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2025. A devoted father and grandfather, Paul leaves behind his children, Paul R. Lucas and Kayla Lucas; his cherished grandchildren, Paul R. Lucas Jr., Natalie Lezotte, Elizabeth Lucas, and Aubrey Lezotte. He is also survived by his brother Kelly (Sheryl) Lucas, his sisters Marsha (Darren) Dankenbring, Kimberly Lucas, Tracie Lucas, and Pamela Lucas, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Paul D. Lucas Sr. and Verna Lucas; his sister Tina Lee Lucas; his niece Julienne Dankenbring; his granddaughter Legna Lezotte; and several beloved grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

A man of many passions, Paul loved the worlds of Star Trek and Star Wars and was a loyal fan of Detroit sports. He found joy in working on cars, building models, and exploring electronics. Paul’s achievements included earning his GED and completing training as a semi-truck driver, reflecting his determination and hard work.

Paul’s kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. His memory will continue to inspire and bring comfort to his loved ones.

Cremation was chosen and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.
