In Loving Memory of Philip

Philip brought joy, love, and light into the lives of everyone who knew him. Though he lived with intellectual disabilities, he faced each day with a smile, a kind heart, and a gentle spirit that inspired those around him.

He found happiness in simple things. He enjoyed listening to music and spending quality time with his family. His innocence and laughter reminded us of what truly matters: love, connection, and presence.

Philip is survived by his siblings: Dexter Barnett; Crystal Garrison (Richard Garrison); and Cynthia Barnett; as well as his nieces and nephews, who gave him a life full of care, dignity, and unwavering support. Their devotion helped make his world bright and safe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Barnett and Madeline Barnett, and his brother, Howard Barnett.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love he gave and the joy he brought.

There will be a celebration of life with a private family memorial. All condolences can be sent to 7802 Canonero Way, Louisville, KY 40291.

Interment services will take place on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Elmwood Cemetery, located at 640 North Ridge Road, Lorain, Ohio 44053.
