Ramona Brown

With love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Ramona Pauline Brown, who entered eternal rest on October 17, 2025, at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivy and Mary Assiter. 

She is survived by her children, Kathleen Johnson, Thomas Brown, and Michael Brown; daughters-in-law, Tonya Brown and Sherry Brown; grandchildren, Rebecca Tomah, Jennifer Racicot, Alicia LeBeau-Ray, Jessica Brown, Vanessa Brown, Rocky Vaughan, and Malynn Vaughan-Money; great-grandchildren, Galen "Trey" Leslie, Bryce Leslie, Samuel Tomah, Zachariah Tomah, Emma Brown, Lily Horne, Gabe Vaughan, Violet, Jude, Cameron Cooper, and Tateona Brown; along with Juniper Miller and Davis Kuester; great-great-grandchildren Evelyn Leslie, Lilah Leslie, Azlynn Tomah, and Judah Tomah.

A devoted member of The Believers Church in Louisville, Kentucky, Ramona lived a life filled with faith, family and love. She cherished her cats, enjoyed crocheting, and treasured her books.

There will be a private family gathering at Wellington Green on October 20, 2025 and a memorial gathering on November 8, 2025.

Cremation was chosen and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
