Rebecca Carol (Boyles) Ogg

06/27/1958 - 2/22/2026

Rebecca Carol (Boyles) Ogg, known to friends as Becky and lovingly called Wife, Mom, and Mamaw by her family, passed away on February 22, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky, at the age of 67.

Born in Orlando, Florida, Becky was known for her unforgettable laugh — complete with a snort when she chuckled — and for the way she loved openly and deeply. She fought ovarian cancer bravely and, even in illness, continued to give of herself.

Becky created a TikTok account, @beckyboylesogg — “Mamaw Becky” — to raise awareness about ovarian cancer, building a community she affectionately called her “chickadees.”

She is survived by her husband, Ray Ogg; her children, Carol Ogg, Kathy Ogg, Raymond Ogg II, and James Ogg; her 22 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Becky will be remembered for her strength, her humor, and the unabashed love she gave to everyone in her life.

In lieu of flowers, we know Mom would be grateful for your support to the following programs:

Polkadogz

Mayo Clinic Ovarian Cancer Care

My Mother was the absolute embodiment of love, joy, and grace. Her’s was the most brilliantly beautiful of souls. Her passing will leave a void that will never be filled. Her light so profoundly brightened the lives of everyone blessed enough to be warmed by its in-extinguishable glow. She said she did not want us to mourn her death but, rather, celebrate her life. I love my mom and will forever be bettered by her love and guidance. Goodbye Mom. I love you.

I met your beautiful mamaw through tik tok. I’ve had a hard time navigating through grief after losing my mom and her words and perspective have helped me so much. What a beautiful soul to want to continue to pour love out into this world even as she was going through so much.

My deepest condolences to you all and I am so thankful to have known her , even a small bit through her videos. Forever a chickadee 🐥 ❤️. Aloha.

It was an honor to stumble upon her page on my TikTok. You could see the light in her eyes always, even amongst the difficult and painful days. My heart goes out to all of the family and friends. “The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.” Isaiah 57:1

Ms. Becky –

While we never met in person, I came across your TikTok page a few months ago. I am blessed that I did. To witness your strength and determination truly inspired me. Plus, it touched my heart to listen to your stories and hear you share your vulnerability while remaining positive throughout your journey.

Being human, we lose perspective on what other people are going through. At times, I would have a so-so day. Then I would receive a notification that you posted a video. I watched it, and you would completely change the course of my day for the better. Plus, it was rather humbling to know what you are going through, but you would share to help others. You would not just brighten my day; you would brighten the days of many. Thank you.

I am just a stranger who was fortunate enough to come across your TikTok page. You made a difference in my life and touched me in ways that no words can describe. Whenever I hear “Chickadee,” my thoughts will go to you. Even as I type it, I can hear your voice, “Hello, my Chickadees.”

Thank you for sharing your journey and allowing us to be a part of it. I will miss you. I know you will live on through the hearts and minds of not only family and those closest to you, but also through the many, like me, who were blessed to have been witnesses to such a beautiful person.

To Ms. Becky’s family. Condolences to you all. Prayers of comfort are with you all.

Becky is most definitely dancing on the streets of Gold. If anyone deserves to see the face of Jesus, its her. She was absolutely the embodiment of a real angel on earth, who lived by love and happiness and spread that wherever she was. I long to be half the lady she was. I will forever cherish my friendship with her, and always considered the whole family my family ❤️ I love you becky, and all the Ogg-lets ❤️❤️💔
