Rebecca Fern Balk (Noe), age 58, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025, with her devoted husband by her side.

Born on November 20, 1966, Rebecca lived a life full of compassion, strength, and unwavering love for her family and animals. She is survived by her husband, Mark Balk, and her father, Billy Noe. Rebecca was a proud and loving mother to her children: Katrina Butler (Chris), Amy Stober, Matt Balk, and Brian Balk (Jennifer).

She was a cherished grandmother to seven grandchildren: Drake Balk, Anne Marie Cupp, Vai Balk, Kaylee Stober, Tommy Stober, Alexis Stober, and Logan Stober. She was also a beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Rebecca is survived by her sisters: Sue Boggs (Mike), Brenda Hicks (Jerry), and Lynn Goodman. She was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Noe, and her son-in-law, Thomas Stober.

Rebecca had a fierce and lifelong love for animals, especially dogs. She dedicated many years to running an animal rescue, giving countless animals a second chance at life and a loving home. Her compassion and dedication touched many lives—human and animal alike.

A celebration of Rebecca’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions to assist with final expenses may be made directly to Magnolia Cremations.

Rebecca will be remembered for her big heart, her devotion to her family, and her unshakable love for the animals she cared for. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and love.
