Rex Alan Rutherford

Rex Alan Rutherford, 53, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at his home in Mauckport.

Rex was born December 21, 1970, in Corydon, the son of Barbara Crecelius Rutherford and the late Kenneth Roy Rutherford. 

He is survived by his wife, Trish Brooks Rutherford and their son, Gunner Wade Rutherford, his older children: Arthur Cathey, Victoria Woodard, Lydia (Bryce) Green, and Ronald Rutherford; two grandchildren, Jaden Woodard and Peri Green, his mother Barbara Rutherford, his brother Gary Rutherford, his sisters, Beth Rutherford and Melissa (Daniel) Washburn of Argyle, TX; and nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen and will be handled by Magnolia Cremations. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 2 pm at Household of Faith Assembly of God church in Crandall.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to his wife to help pay his final expenses.
