Rhonda Lockard

Rhonda Lockard, 70, of McCarr, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025.

She is survived by her loving children: daughter Rebecca Matney (Reymond), and sons Freddie Lockard Jr. (Jennifer), Johnnie Lockard (Mattie), and Trai Lockard. She also leaves behind her sisters Ellen Bryant, Kathy Wardloe (Mitch), and Joyce Hammond; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two special nieces, Bobbie Hammond and Hannah Moore.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Freddie Lockard Sr.; her daughter, Lisa Lockard; her father, Lewis Payne; her mother, Hazel Blevins; and her sister, Judy Payne.

Rhonda cherished spending time with her family, especially her sister Joyce and her great-grandson Landen Adair. A proud high school graduate, she carried herself with strength, warmth, and love throughout her life. Rhonda’s presence, laughter, and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
