Richard Dale Brown

8/3/1971 - 8/5/2025

Richard Dale Brown, 54, of Clarkson, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025, surrounded by the love of his devoted wife and family. A man of quiet strength, warm heart, and steady hands, Richard lived a life rooted in love, laughter, and togetherness.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Edwina Brown; sons, Matthew Brown and Dustin Brown; daughter, Autumn Brown — all of Clarkson; and his stepson, Brian Bruner of Paducah. He is also survived by his mother, Leona Livers; his sisters, Janet Morgan and Kathy Hutchins; his brother, Michael Brown; along with several nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Matthew Brown, and his sisters, Linda Anderson and Gloria Perkins.

Richard found joy in the simple, meaningful things: a quiet day spent outdoors hunting or fishing, the satisfaction of a garden in bloom, and the comfort of family gathered around the dinner table. He was an avid antique hunter, a skilled crafter, and the kind of man who could turn everyday moments into lasting memories. Whether he was manning the grill, working on a project, or just sitting outside beneath the trees, he radiated a love for life — especially when cherry blossoms were in bloom, a sight he cherished deeply.

More than anything, Richard was a family man. He was a wonderful husband and a proud, loving father — the kind of person whose presence brought calm, whose laughter brought warmth, and whose love was felt in everything he did.

His memory will forever be a blessing to those who knew him, and his legacy will live on in every family gathering, in every project lovingly completed, and in every cherry blossom that blooms in spring.
