Robert “Bob” Ernstes

Robert “Bob” Ernstes, born on July 24, 1950 to Ralph and Ruth Ernstes of Greensburg Indiana.  He had amazing siblings, many making him an Uncle (and great Uncle).

He died January 15, 2025 peacefully at the home he shared with his long term girlfriend in Shelbyville.  He was a resident of Greensburg and the surrounding cities his entire life. Many know and remember him for his extreme kindness, the music that he was so passionate about and his unique sense of humor.  

Bob would travel to new places in search of the perfect new start, but always ended up back where it was familiar, safe and he was amongst family and friends. 

Bob was an incredibly thoughtful father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  He is loved and missed by many but his legacy lives on in the individual memories we have of him.

A memorial/celebration of life will be held on April 5th, 2025, (1:00 pm - 4:00 pm) at the Bruner Event Centre, 100 N Webster Street, St. Paul, Indiana, 47272.
