Robert Gordon Crady
5/21/1952 -11/22/2025
Robert Gordon Crady, 73, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on November 22, 2025. He was born on May 21, 1952, to Charles and Ramona Crady in New Albany, Indiana.
Robert is survived by his children, Joy Crady (Phillip) Bline and Jacob Crady; his sister, Kathy Crady; and his grandchildren, Makenzie Bline, Hunter Bline, Mackenzie Cole, Kyle Crady, and Kendall Crady. He also leaves behind a very special companion, Debra Henderson, who held a cherished place in his heart. He also leaves nieces and nephews, Tammy Blayton, Ted Mann, and Mathew Crady.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ramona Crady, and his brother, Ronald A. Crady.
Robert lived a life filled with simple joys and deep passions. He was an avid deer and squirrel hunter and loved spending time in nature, especially in the quiet wooded spots he claimed as his own. In his younger years, he enjoyed attending concerts, and throughout his life he found happiness in cooking—trying his hand at anything he could to feed and care for his family.
He was a devoted sports fan, especially of basketball and football, proudly cheering for UK and the Bengals. Above all, Robert treasured his grandchildren, who brought him his greatest joy.
Robert was a GED graduate of New Albany High School and honorably served in the United States Army from 1970–1973 as a Sharpshooter.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 3, 2025, at 1:00 PM at VFW Post 1693, Grant Line Road, New Albany, Indiana.

Oh how I loved you my brother. I know you’re not suffering anymore. I’m gonna miss our times that we had together going back-and-forth to the VA. My heart is empty and mourns for RONNIE and you cause it’s just 10 months apart that I lost you both. But God knew that you and you and Ryan now will be with mom and dad and all of you are now watching over me. Give mom and dad and Ron a kiss for me. I love you big brother and little brother .
Forever in my Heart.
❤️ Love your Sis xxoo
