Robert Louis Kerner Jr, 52 of Cromwell, Kentucky passed away Thursday September 25, 2025. Rob was born in Elmhurst, IL To the Late Nila Jean Kerner “Chinn” and lived most of his life in Des Plaines, IL. Rob attended Maine West High School in Des Plaines, IL, where he played football and Wrestled. Rob also spent a lot of time in his childhood in Ohio County, Kentucky Rob moved to Cromwell, Kentucky in 2019. Rob never met a stranger. Rob had amazing love and an empathetic heart towards everyone and every living thing. No matter the situation Rob could always make you smile , even while he was in the midst of suffering himself.

Rob was preceded in death by his mother Nila Jean Kerner Chinn and Grandmother Naomi Eskridge. Rob leaves behind his sister Leslie Rebekah Kerner and Nephew Kerry Mitchell Reed Kerner, who Rob raised like his own son.
