Robert Trindeitmar

8/27/1949- 06/11/2025

Robert J. Trindeitmar, 75, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025 with those who loved him. He was a quiet, selfless, and determined man, he lived his life not for recognition, but for the people he cared about most.

He was born in New Albany, IN on August 27, 1949. He lived life with a quiet act of kindness or a wordless gesture of support, although he was quiet, you knew he loved you.

He loved his Indiana Hoosiers, boating, golfing and hunting. He had an appreciation for lifesimple pleasures- especially a good bourbon and cigar.

He was a devoted husband, father and papaw. His memory will live on in the quiet moments on the porch with a glass of bourbon and an IU game on, and in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him.

He was proceeded in death by his mother, Bertha Trindeitmar, his father Herman Trindeitmar, his brother, Dennis Trindeitmar, and his sister, Janet Trindeitmar.

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 53 years, Rita Trouy Trindeitmar. His daughter, Laura Trindeitmar Muncy (Alan), his son, Bart Trindeitmar (Candace), his 3 grandchildren Breck Muncy, Zella and Crosby Trindeitmar. His sister, Sharon Crayden (Robert) and his brother, Joseph Trindeitmar (Mary Lou). As well as several nieces and nephews.

At this time, the family chooses to mourn and celebrate in private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hosparus Health Southern Indiana, The Knights of Columbus in Jeffersonville, IN or that you raise a glass in his honor and remember him with a smile.
