Robin Lea Tackett

4/17/1960 - 12/16/2024

Robin Lea Tackett, born April 17th, 1960 in Evansville, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on December 16th, 2024, after a fierce battle with cancer. 

Robin is survived by her children, Corey (Jeff) Pack and McKinsey Schmahlenberger, her siblings, Dorothy Burghard, Robert (Brenda) Tackett Jr., Brenda (Bud) Hales, And Sharon Tackett. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Dorothy (Fulton) Tackett and her brother Terry “T-Bone” Tackett. 

A beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend, Robin never met a person who instantly didn’t love her and pulled in by her positive and outgoing spirit, no one could make you laugh like Robin. She was known as a second mom to many of her daughter’s friends and touched the lives of so many people around her. 

Robin enjoyed crafting, especially sewing, boating, music, spending time with family and friends, living life to the fullest, and feeding her grand dogs white cheddar Cheetos when she thought no one was looking. Robin had a huge heart and often helped others, even when she could have used help too. Never a dull moment either when she was around, everyone has a favorite Robin story that will bring a smile or a laugh during this sad time.

Robin's children would like to thank the hospice nurses and other staff at Hosparus Health. Words cannot express how grateful we are to the love and care that was provided to our mother and us in her final days.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday December 21st, 2024 from 2pm-4pm at Cornerstone Assembly of God, 3900 Kratzville Road, Evansville, Indiana, 47710.
