Roger Dean Watkins, 55, passed away on December 6, 2025. He was born on November 15, 1970.
Roger was a devoted father, loving partner, and cherished family member. He is survived by his daughters, Lilly and Emily Watkins; his father, Felix Watkins Jr.; his stepmother, Millie Watkins; his sisters, Theresa Watkins and Cyndi Watkins; his partner, Kim Muessle; and his two nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Jeanne Bell, and his brother, Christopher Watkins.
Roger found joy in the simple things in life. He loved collecting comic books, antiquing and thrifting, and spending evenings watching movies. Reality television, especially Survivor, was one of his favorite pastimes. He took pride in tending his garden, growing tomatoes and cucumbers, and could often be found gathering wood for a good bonfire. He enjoyed lawn care, family parties, and backyard cookouts, where laughter and stories were always shared.
Roger proudly served his country in the United States Army, a service he carried with quiet pride throughout his life.

Together. Roger has always been wonderful but after the loss of my dad. Roger showed me that I was loved more then I ever knew.. not only was he my cousin but become a good friend.. Roger will be loved and missed dearly..

Roger was the best uncle I could ever ask for. We might not have always seen eye to eye, but I knew he loved me always. He was the one who first took me and his daughters to Churchill Downs. So many good memories to cherish. He was always the one to joke and make everyone smile. I miss him so much.
