Roger N. Heiser

Roger Heiser, 74, of East Lake Nursing Home in Elkhart passed away on Friday, May 15th at 8:15 p.m., where he was a resident for almost 10 years due to dementia.

A graduate of Elkhart High School Class of 1969, Roger worked for Bayer and retired in 2008 after 34 years. He loved working and playing on computers, hunting and fishing with his sons, and of course, tinkering. 

Roger is survived by his ex-wife Pat Heiser of 40+ years; their older son Mike Heiser; and brother, Randy Heiser.

His parents, Dr. & Mrs. Bill Heiser; younger son, Tim Heiser; grandparents, Erwin & Agatha Heiser; and in-laws, Bill & Linda Bickel, have all preceded him in death. 

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to his son Tim’s nonprofit Scrappers Rescue Corporation who trains service dogs for Veterans and others. 

His Memorial of Life will be held at their former farm, 51798 County Rd. 23, Bristol. Date and time not available yet. (more information to come)
