Ronald Ring Dressler II, age 48, of Louisville, KY, passed away on November 3, 2024. Born on August 9, 1976, in Fort Knox, Ronald served his country proudly as a veteran of the U.S. Army. Recently, he found renewed faith in God and felt called to serve others. His heartfelt goal was to become a peer support specialist, helping individuals through challenges he himself had faced.

Ronald is lovingly remembered by his sister, Shane Saltsman (Roy); his brother, Robert Green (Brenda); two nephews, Jacob and Joshua; and three nieces, Kaylan, Meredith, and Savana. He is also survived by his step-parents, Donna Dressler and Rodney Davis; his step-brother, David Hedrick (Mandy); his aunt, Barbara Jensen; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martha Kay Davis and Ronald R. Dressler Sr., whom he cherished deeply.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Wayside Christian Mission in Louisville, Kentucky, in Ronald's honor. A private family memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

I am sorry for your loss. I spoke with him a few months ago. I knew he was having a few personal challenges going on. I was shocked to hear of his passing. Growing up together since 86’ and always staying the night at each others house. We were practically inseperatable as childhood and early adulthhood friends. But, life happens and i moved away and dealt with my own life challenges. I am saddened to hear of his passing. He will defintely be missed. And, his family will be in my prayers.
