Rosalind “Roz” Golden, 75, passed away on 04/22/2026. She was born on 02/03/1951.

She is survived by her sister, Anita Smith of Indianapolis, Indiana; brothers, Lott M. Smith Jr. of Toledo, Ohio; Milton S. Smith and his wife, Donna, of Euclid, Ohio; and sister, Shelly S. King of Brunswick, Georgia.

Roz was preceded in death by her parents, Rose Smith and Lott McFarren Smith; her son, Logan Donovan Wade, who passed in 2006; and her husband, Leonard “Dusty” Golden, in 2020.

Roz was a 1969 graduate of Glenville High School in Cleveland, Ohio, and later attended Cleveland State University. She worked for The Cleveland Press and Charter One Bank in Cleveland. After a long career in banking, she retired in 2009. Following Dusty’s passing, Roz returned to work as a cashier at Dollar Tree in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

Roz loved gardening and shopping—especially QVC and HSN. She enjoyed listening to podcasts, constantly learning, and most recently, teaching herself to code.

I was Roz's wish to not have a funeral or memorial service and the family is respecting her wishes.
