Ruth Jeanette Sneed

June 26,1955 - February 4, 2024 

Ruth Sneed, 68, of Louisville, KY, peacefully passed away on February 4, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her devoted daughter Renatta (Joe) Ashley of Corydon, IN, and cherished granddaughter Ciara Massie. Ruth is also survived by her loving brother Stanley (Cindy) Turner of Brandenburg, KY, and her two beloved dogs, Pumpkin and Foxy.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Edward Turner and Ruth Martin Turner Early, as well as her three brothers: Ed, Bob, and Frank Turner, and two sisters, Dorothy Redmon and Carolyn Matthews. She was also preceded in death by her close friend, Delores Dye.

Ruth dedicated many years of her life to serving as a Security Officer at Caesars Southern Indiana before retiring. She was a proud graduate of Meade County High School and a faithful member of Family of Faith Church.

Ruth will be remembered for her kind heart, unwavering strength, and love for her family and furry companions. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Cremation was chosen and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.
