Sarah Greer Hubbard

Sarah Hubbard passed away peacefully on Friday, January 23, 2026. 

Always quick with sass and a smile, Sarah brought genuine joy to everyone around her. A natural caregiver, Sarah was happiest and most at peace when she was enjoying time with her closest friends and family. Modest, intelligent, and quick to help anyone in need, the impact of her generosity, kindness and quirky wisdom will be felt for generations.

Sarah is survived by her three siblings, Joseph Greer (Vera) of Katy, Texas, Rebecca Carender of London, Kentucky, and John Greer of Somerset, Kentucky; her son and daughter-in-law, Benjaman Hunter and Lorena Meza Hubbard of Knoxville, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Joeleen Hubbard (Austin) and Johni Hubbard (Christian), of Knoxville, Tennessee, Amanda Peters, and Andrew Greer; four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carroll Franklin and Drucilla Bowling Greer, her husband John (Red John) Hubbard, and her daughter, Victoria Thomas.
