Sarah Roose Kellis (“Sally”)

Sarah Roose Kellis (“Sally”) passed away on December 22, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky, at the age of 87.

Born on November 21, 1938, Sally was happily married to Chuck Kellis for 43 years, until his death in 2010. She grew up in Terrace Park, Ohio, and was a proud graduate of Centre College.

As the beloved “matriarch” of her family, Sally is held in loving memory by her brother, Tom Roose; her niece, Betsy Kamin; and her nephews, Mike Bonvillain, Daniel Roose, Nicholas Roose, and Adam Roose. She is also fondly remembered by her eight great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will hold a private memorial service. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
