Serge Rodriguez

Serge Rodriguez, 54, of Queens, New York, passed away on December 29, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Serge is survived by his loving son, Stefano José Rodriguez; his devoted mother, Joan Evangeline Whiteman Rodriguez; his sister, Monica Rodriguez Florville; his brother-in-law, René Florville; and his cherished nephews, René Florville IV and Noah Miles Florville. He is preceded in death by his father, Ernst Cecil Rodriguez.

Serge was a man of many passions and talents. With a keen interest in electronics and computer engineering, he spent countless hours tinkering and mastering the art of technology. He had a deep love for motorcycles, firearms, and the Guinness Book of World Records, which fueled his fascination with the extraordinary. His culinary skills and enthusiasm for creating flavor-filled dishes made every meal an experience to savor.

At the core of Serge’s life was his unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. His love for the Lord shaped his journey and guided him to live a life filled with purpose, humility, and heartfelt devotion.

Family was the cornerstone of Serge’s world. He never went a day without speaking to his beloved mother, whose presence—whether near or far—gave him strength and joy. He adored his family and found immense happiness in hearing about their lives and celebrating their accomplishments. His love knew no bounds, and his generous spirit touched everyone around him.

Serge leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and unshakeable faith. May he rest eternally in the arms of Jesus Christ, surrounded by peace and grace.

A private service to honor Serge’s life will be held at a later date.

Cremation was chosen and Magnolia Cremations of Jeffersonville, Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.
