Sharon Marie (Bishop) Mancuso
11/28/1954 - 9/25/2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sharon Marie (Bishop) Mancuso, beloved wife, mother, and cherished Nanny, on September 25, 2025. Sharon was born on November 28, 1954, to Jesse and Mary Sue Bishop. Sharon’s life was defined by her compassion and dedication to others. A graduate of Indiana State University Nursing School in 1992, she pursued her calling with unwavering commitment. She served with distinction at Putnam County Hospital Surgical Center and various other nursing departments within the hospital. However, it was in hospice care that Sharon truly found her passion. She dedicated years to providing comfort and support to those in their final journey, working for several hospice agencies in Yardley, Pennsylvania; Avon, Indiana; and Marana, Arizona.
For 52 years, Sharon shared a loving marriage with William Phillip Mancuso Jr., together building a family and creating a legacy of love and laughter. Sharon is survived by her husband Bill, children: Dena M. (Mancuso) Ferguson and her spouse Jason Ferguson, Angela Michele (Mancuso) Hendrixson and her spouse Charlie Hendrixson III, and William Phillip Mancuso III and his spouse Whitney Mancuso. She delighted in her grandchildren, Clara Mae Hendrixson, Thomas Ferguson, and Charlie Hendrixson IV. Sharon is also remembered fondly by her sister, Linda (Bishop) Gallagher.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Mary Sue Bishop, and her brother, Randall Bishop.
Beyond her professional and familial commitments, Sharon found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, nurturing her garden, expressing her creativity through drawing and painting, sharing laughter with friends through card games and crafting, and enjoying outings with loved ones.
A memorial service celebrating Sharon's life will be held 11:00AM, November 1st at Cloverdale Christian Church, 11961 SR 42, Cloverdale, IN 46120.

It was an absolute privilege to get to work with your mom!! I worked with her on Saturdays at life’s journey ( and whenever she was silly enough to pick up an extra shift). I truly looked forward to working the weekend. She was someone to admire, look up to, to be truly proud to work with and beside!! We always had a fun day but worked equally as hard to provide the best of care
possible. She was an amazing lady that i am very grateful to have met! I so appreciated her!! Was always a comfort to know she was there!! I pray for your comfort and peace in your lose—i know she will greatly be missed!!
