Sherry Mancino Powers

Sherry "Mancino" Powers, 81, of Hardinsburg, Indiana, passed away on October 22, 2025.
Raised in California by her mother, Marilyn Rooney, she spent her years between Seattle and Las Vegas, and her final years with her daughter and son-in-law, Steve, in Indiana on a mini farm, where she found the peace she loved.
She was a mother of three children and is survived by her two sons, Angelo and Chris; her daughter, Shannon; as well as her five younger siblings, Allan, Roxanne, Joey, and Angela, and her eight grandchildren. She touched people's hearts wherever she went with her generosity, sweetness, and love, and we grew up knowing that you never had to ask to take in another child for a good meal. Mom was always there to help and showed grace to everyone. She was a Christian with the morals and standards to match her words and loved her family dearly.
She will now rest in heaven with her husband, Jan, whom she has greatly missed, and now will be greeted at our heavenly gates with open arms.

Aunt Sherry had a way of making you feel seen. She always had kind words and a big hug to give. I always looked forward to her visits or seeing her. She will be missed dearly.
