Stephanie Louise Kaelin, 48, passed away on September 15, 2026. She was born on March 16, 1978.

Stephanie is survived by her children, Kalie Ritter and Kaden Chitwood; stepchildren, Blake and Bailey Chitwood; grandchildren, Kinley, Serenity, Jaeda, and Briair; her sister, Shannon Basham; her aunt, Lori Kaelin; her niece, Brianna Singleton; and her nephews, Brandon and Byron Singleton.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Vickie Basham; her father, Larry Kaelin; her stepfather, William Reister; and her longtime partner, Jason Chris Chitwood.

Stephanie lost her battle with cancer after a four-year-long fight. Throughout her journey, her children and grandchildren were always her number one priority. She was the sweetest soul and had a special way of making an impact on everyone she came in contact with. Her kindness, love, and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

Stephanie loved spending time with her children and family. She enjoyed a good Lifetime movie, and bingo was her go-to pastime. Above all, she treasured the time she spent surrounded by the people she loved most. 

Stephanie will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
