Stephen Eisenmenger, 79, of Louisville, KY, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on November 15, 1946, and spent his life serving the Lord, his country as a National Guard Veteran, and his church family at Southeast Christian Church, where he was a member of the Moving Forward Class and volunteered as an usher and security. He was dedicated to his role as a Parts Sales Representative at Bob Hook Chevrolet, where he was employed for over forty years.

He was known above all else for his quiet devotion to the people he loved, including being a guardian and positive role model for the children he helped raise.

He was a drag car racing, NASCAR, and tennis enthusiast, as well as an avid pickleball player. He took great pride in being a Football and Volleyball Papaw.

He is survived by his wife, Teri (Cook); children, Amanda Mayhew, John (Renee) Mayhew, Nathan (Rachel) Mahaffey, and Timothy Stephen; grandchildren, Nikolas (Mariko), Jordanlynn, Katelynn, Taylor, JB, Luke, and Caramia; and great-grandchildren, Daisy, Lily, and Nikolas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence A. and Eliza Jordan Eisenmenger, and his son, Christopher C. Eisenmenger.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Southeast Christian Church – Chapel in the Woods, 1407 Moser Rd., Louisville, KY, with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m.
