Stephen Tyler Winn

Stephen Tyler Winn, 43, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on November 25, 2025.
Born on May 9, 1982, in Louisiana, Stephen was known for his fun-loving personality and the deep care he had for his family and close friends. He brought joy and warmth to all who knew him.
He is survived by his sisters, Rebecca Winn and Stephanie (Winn) Hockensmith; his niece, Emma Hockensmith; his nephew, Easton Hockensmith; and his partner, Keith Mobley.
A memorial service will be held at North Fork Baptist Church in Frankfort, Kentucky, on Saturday, December 20, at 1 p.m.

I babysat for the Winn kids for almost 7 years, starting when Tyler was 3, Becky was 2, and Stephie had just turned 9 weeks old. Tyler was so cuddly and lovable, he used to love to climb in my lap every day at nap time so I could sing him to sleep. As he got older, he was still just as sweet, but at times he COULD leave me speechless-like when he told me he’d have to find me somebody to “do it with”! I mean, he was only 8 when he said that, but I’m assuming he didn’t know what he was talking about! I was SO glad to reconnect with Becky and Tyler again in 2022, and I couldn’t wait to see them again. Now, I’m still in shock over what’s happened! RIP Sweet Tyler
