Tavish David Goodyear

Tavish David Goodyear of Louisville KY passed beyond the veil, on the morning of October 21, 2025. He was 41. Tavish is survived by his fiancé Melody Ann Ferguson, father David Edward Goodyear, mother Cheryl Ann (Turner) Goodyear, grandfather Harry Elmer Goodyear, grandmother Nicole Celeste (Chandler) Goodyear, sisters Candice Marie (Goodyear) Latella and Sara Elizabeth (Goodyear) Hayden. Nephews Giovanni Dangelo Giangeruso, Alexander Lee Hayden, Vincent Antonio Latella and Sebastion William Bowden. Nieces Lilly Gene Hayden, Abigail Rose Latella, Morrigan Ember-Rayne Bowden, Vivian Siobhan Latella and grandniece Alexis Faith Giangeruso.
Tavish enjoyed shooting sports, motorcycles, amateur radio (callsign KM4JZL) and working on cars and trucks. He also enjoyed music, movies, video games and computers.
Tavish explored life with gusto. From a very young age he was outgoing and generous of spirit. He loved the outdoors and animals. He had many pets over the years. He loved them all as family and was their friend as much as their provider.
Tavish is greatly missed by all who knew him. We take comfort in knowing that he is spreading his love and joy over wider creation now.

It’s hard to find the right words when someone as special as Tavish leaves us. He was truly one of the good ones—full of spirit, warmth, and a personality that could light up any room. Tavish had a way of making people feel seen and valued, and his presence brought comfort and joy to those around him.
His laughter, kindness, and genuine heart will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May we carry forward the light he shared with us and honor his memory by living with the same generosity and spirit he showed every day.
