Teresa Weaver, 62, of New Albany, IN, passed away on May 23, 2024. 

Teresa "Terri" Weaver, a beloved wife and mother, devoted horse enthusiast,  and passionate antique shop owner, passed away on May 23, 2024, in New Albany, IN. She was born on September 15, 1961, in Michigan City, Indiana to her late father William Mansdorfer Jr., and mother Sharron Mansdorfer.

 

Terri dedicated her life to her favorite hobbies. Her love for horses shaped her career and lifestyle. She owned and operated several antique shops throughout her life, with her most recent venture being Court Avenue Antiques & Gifts. Teresa’s keen eye for unique pieces and her dedication to preserving history made her a respected figure in the antique community.

 For over five years, Terri also worked at Ceasers Casino, where she made lasting connections with her colleagues and patrons. Terri's caring nature also served her well in her many years as benefits coordinator for Block & Associates. In that role, Terri often worked well into the evening making sure clients received the care they needed. Her hard work and dedication were evident in everything she did.

 She is survived by, her Husband; Dennis Weaver, her Daughter; Amy Weaver, Stepson; Adam Weaver (Wife Jessica), Step Grandchildren; Noah 18, Logan 15, Lyla 13, Andrew 10. As a loving woman, Terri instilled in them a sense of adventure, a love for animals, and the importance of following one's passions.

 Throughout her life, Terri impacted the lives of those around her with her kindness, generosity, and infectious zest for life. She taught others to appreciate the beauty found in everyday moments and cherished relationships. Teresa’s involvement in the equestrian community and her dedication to her 4H roots were testaments to her giving nature.

 Teresa’s faith was an essential part of her life. Encouraged by her friends Miss Joe and Betty, she surrendered her life to Jesus through the Gospel Fellowship Church. Her faith provided her comfort and strength throughout her later journey in life.

 Terri leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of a life lived to the fullest. She will be deeply missed by her husband of over 30 years, her Daughter, her immediate family, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
