Thomas Edward “Tom”

Thomas Edward “Tom” Lotz, 59, of Crestwood, Kentucky, passed away on May 6, 2026, at Hosparus Health in Louisville, Kentucky.

He was a beloved husband, father, and friend. Tom is survived by his wife, Anne Lotz (née Gapinski); his daughter, Clara Lotz; his father, Tom Lotz; and his sister, Lisa Lotz. He was preceded in death by his twin sons, Zachary Lotz and Alexander Lotz. A host of family and friends are left to mourn his loss and celebrate his life.

Tom enjoyed sports, especially watching Michigan Wolverines football and Cleveland Browns games. He was inspired by nature and loved traveling to lakes, forests, and mountain regions across the country. Among his other interests were cars, landscaping, and heavy metal music. Throughout his life, Tom was passionate about his dogs, including his devoted Australian Shepherd, Bear.

Tom graduated from North Ridgeville High School, earned a technical degree in electronics technology, and worked at Ford Motor Company for 33 years.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
